And BOMA International is rolling out new floor measurement standards every 5 years now for all 6 of its measurement standards (Office, Industrial, Retail, Gross, Multi-Family & Hospitality, and Mixed-Use Standards). That’s more than one a year! It is a lot to keep track of. With recent lawsuits going after 10s of millions of dollars in back rent for bad measurements mean we all need to be more diligent than ever.
